“Freedom Rockers” is an original riddim created by Inyaki Yarritu, the mastermind behind Basque Dub Foundation (BDF). This is the second creation from Basque Dub Foundation to be released on Heartical Label, the previous one was the critically-acclaimed “Ministerio Del Dub” featuring the late Alton Ellis & Sugar Minott amongst many others. This new release gathers 12 unreleased vocals and a dub version. The truly international line up features artists from Jamaica, England, France, Italy and Spain !

Steel Pulse’s lead vocalist, David Hinds, graces us with his third release on Heartical label, a vibrant reflexion on woman and man sometimes complicated relationships. The “Incredible” General Levy is once again in top form to deliver another crucial ganja lyric, designed to keep his worlwide fans rocking in the dance. Veteran Jamaican deejay Joseph Cotton (formerly known as Jah Walton) rides the riddim with style while reminding us how precious water can be. Another Jamaican veteran singer, Carlton Livingston teams up for the first time with the UK rap trio A State Of Mind (ASM) to achieve what could be described as the first modern “rapping rub a dub rockers” cut ever ! We suggest you also check out for A.S.M’s latest album “Natty Crown” and their collaborations with the French producer Wax Tailor.

Rub A dub veteran Papa Kojak has the style of old school Jamaican deejay vibes you need to rock a riddim like this one, the result sounds like if it was recorded way back in the 70s. Another Heartical houselhold name, the Jamaican upcoming singer Zareb is always in top form when it comes to write and sing some conscious vocals, just like the London based singer and engineer G Vibes who is making here his first appearance on the Heartical Label. UK based deejay Troublesome already released a cut on Heartical’s Fade Away riddim in 2004, he is back in the game with a lot of new releases, enjoy this inspired herb anthem and get ready for some more releases coming soon.

Our three last artists are all based in continental Europe proving reggae music is truly outernational. The Spanish sister & brother duo Rootsamala has already released many singles on the Heartical Label in the past; they once again put up some high quality vocals & harmonies taking the riddim to another level. Upcoming Italian singjay KG Man easily bridges the gap between modern dancehall and the vintage sound of the riddim with his ganja song “Mr Weed”. Last but not least, the French singing duo made up of Guive & Professor Liv’High showcases a brilliant dialogue between “Dr. Heart” & “Mr Reason”. To round it up, you can enjoy the “Freedom Rockers Dub”, courtesy of Dub Terror who also mixed the whole selection... Time ro rock that riddim !
